A dark blue shield-shaped embroidered item with a semi circular base 2 1/4 inches (5.72 cm) in height by 1 7/8 inches (4.76 cm) in width overall, charged with three gold lightning bolts all within a triple border 3/32 inch (.24 cm) black, 1/32 inch (.08 cm) khaki and 1/8 inch (.32 cm) black. The beret flash was approved on 1 September 2005 and amended to change the design and description on 8 September 2005.

The background trimming was approved on 1 September 2005 and amended to change the design and description on 8 September 2005.
